Jennifer Vanderpool is a Los Angeles based artist who creates installations that include video, animation, audio, and performance elements. Vanderpool's working process often explores her heartland roots where she was raised to be a gritty domestic goddess. She now employs her shopping skills to gather food stuffs and landscaping goods to create multifaceted and sometimes meandering installations that comment on domesticity, constructed environments, and pop culture.

Vanderpool has exhibited solo and group shows nationally and internationally at contemporary art centers, galleries, and museums. Her work has been reviewed in national and international newspapers, magazines, and online art journals.

In 2006, the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts funded an exhibition of her work at Living Arts of Tulsa. The following year, she was awarded an international artist grant from Kunstrådet, Danish Arts Council, for her exhibition at RACA in Copenhagen.

Vanderpool and Los Angeles based artist Jane Callister have collaborated as Vandallister and have exhibited nationally and in Mexico City. She also has worked collaboratively with Swedish artist Ellen Hedberg.
